Manson, Washington is a magnet for summer vacations. Summer is the time to enjoy the crystal pure waters of beautiful Lake Chelan.
Swimming, sailing, canoeing, water skiing, paddle boarding, or just sitting on the beach are all favorite summer activities. The water in Lake Chelan will warm to over 70 degrees and is perfect for the 85-95 degree summer afternoons.
Nearby Wapato Lake provides great fishing in the spring with trout of 12-15 inches and fun for the whole family. After the trout finishing is over, the bass fisherman cruise the waters of Wapato Lake, Dry Lake, and Roses Lake, where anglers can also catch large catfish.
Antilon Lake is further from town and provides camping and more fishing.
The Manson Loop is a great summertime bike ride with scenic Lake Chelan and orchard views. The route features sparse traffic, with stops along the way at several wineries, no difficult hills, and a relaxing ride through the country. On warm summer days its best to start in the morning and finish before noon to avoid the hot summer sun. It rarely rains during the summer so its safe to leave your rain gear at home in Seattle.
Every summer weekend the Manson Farmers Market at the Manson Grange Hall parking lot is bustling with activity. Local fruits, vegetables and hand made crafts are abundant. Arrive early (8:00 am) to get the best selection.
